Textile Art as an Expression of Resistance and Reflection

The workshop offers participants the opportunity to engage intensively with the technique and cultural background of arpilleras.

Using various methods, participants are gradually introduced to the collective design of textile works. Techniques will be taught that enable participants to create picture stories and reflect on their experiences. The result is not only a product, but also a process that invites participants to engage with social issues. Sewing skills are an advantage.
