Afro Dance speaks the language of the body: rhythmic, cool, and precisely choreographed. Amanda Charles and her Afro Dance group bring the intense energy of African beats to the “Global Space.”

By combining traditional elements with modern movements, the dance style becomes a melting pot of cultures and a fire that loosens up muscles and ligaments. Afro Dance has its roots in the traditional dances of West and Central Africa, which are closely linked to rituals and community life. Through the African diaspora and cultural exchange, a modern style has developed that incorporates elements of hip-hop, dancehall, and street dance and is popular worldwide.
